The benefits of sugaring
There are numerous reasons why you would choose sugaring over other conventional hair removal methods.
More importantly, sugar paste is natural, does not contain chemical additives, is fragrance free and dissolves in water. The formula is also suitable for vegans.
Sugar paste does not require high temperatures to be applied to the skin meaning less redness and no chance of burning.

Because of it's natural ingredients, sugaring is perfect for all types of skin and is a great option for people with sensitive skin or those reactive to chemical ingredients. The paste does not stick to the skin but adheres to the hair resulting in a less painful and traumatic removal. An added bonus is the gentle exfoliating effect as surface dead skin is also removed.
Our treatments utilise two different methods - strip removal and hand removal. The method used will depend on the area being treated and the coarseness of the hair.
Strip sugaring involves a warm sugar paste being spread over the hair and removed with a cloth or paper strip. This tends to be used on larger areas as a more efficient way of removing the hair.
The hand method involves a piece of more dense sugar softened and then spread onto the skin using the fingers. This is particularly good for intimate areas or those that are not so easy to get to.
